Meet the talented cartoonist and writer Tom Toro, born in El Cerrito, California, who now lives in Portland, Oregon with his family. The artist is best known for his single-panel comic series, ‘Home Free’. The comic is full of heartwarming situations in children’s lives. The artist was also a finalist for the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Award in 2020.

The artist has contributed over 200 cartoons to The New Yorker since 2010. Tom got the inspiration to create the ‘Home Free’ comic series during the pandemic when he was locked at home with his 5-year-old son. People loved his webcomic very much. The main character in the comic, Milo Szabo, explores the world with his friends – both human and animal. The artist creates funny comics using words and jokes in a very fun way.
